Why Does Part #8 Require Modification Before Installing the T-N.T. HOP Chamber?

The original WE-M14 HOP chamber uses a single-side pressure design, which may cause uneven downward pressure and insufficient adjustment wheel contact during HOP adjustment. When pressure is concentrated on one side, it may lead to localized stress, unstable adjustment movement, sticking, or side-to-side deviation, ultimately affecting HOP adjustment smoothness and overall operational consistency.

The T-N.T. WE-M14 Kit features a widened adjustment wheel contact design with a balanced dual-side pressure structure, allowing both sides of the adjustment wheel to apply pressure simultaneously. This creates a more complete contact surface and helps reduce uneven pressure and interference caused by the original single-side loading design, further improving HOP stability, adjustment feel, and shot-to-shot consistency.

To match the widened dual-side pressure structure of the T-N.T. HOP chamber, we recommend slightly modifying the groove of the original Part #8 to provide sufficient operating clearance for the adjustment wheel.

Proper groove modification helps reduce contact interference and uneven pressure issues, allowing smoother adjustment wheel movement while improving overall HOP adjustment stability and operational consistency.

Modified condition after groove adjustment, allowing proper installation and smoother operation of the T-N.T. HOP chamber.


The groove modification can be observed more clearly from the rear viewing angle.

This modification is considered an advanced installation adjustment and requires basic DIY and machining experience. If you are unfamiliar with modification work, professional installation is recommended.

During modification, please follow the original factory slope angle and avoid excessive material removal, as over-modification may affect structural strength or positioning accuracy.
