Frequently Asked Questions & Technical Information
To ensure the best installation experience and performance, we have compiled the most frequently asked questions regarding the T-N.T. VFC HK417 / M110 / SR25 Upgrade Kit. The following information provides technical explanations, compatibility notes, and recommended solutions for common installation scenarios.
We hope this guide helps you better understand the product and achieve optimal performance with your setup.
Inner Barrel Compatibility
The T-N.T. VFC HK417 / M110 / SR25 Upgrade Kit is designed for use with standard GBB-spec hop-up buckings. Under normal circumstances, any inner barrel manufactured to the standard GBB specification should be fully compatible.
The internal locating groove of the supplied U-Clip is manufactured with a width of 7.0 mm.
If the locating groove on your inner barrel exceeds 7.0 mm in width, the U-Clip may not seat correctly during installation.
Should this occur, minor fitting may be required. Depending on your setup, either of the following methods can be used:
• Carefully enlarge the locating groove inside the U-Clip.
• Carefully reduce the width of the locating groove on the inner barrel.
Only a small amount of material removal is typically required to achieve proper fitment.
Please note that manufacturing dimensions, tolerances, and groove designs vary between different inner barrel manufacturers. Since there is no universal industry standard shared by every brand, it is not possible to guarantee identical compatibility with all aftermarket inner barrels.
For this reason, certain brands or production batches may require minor fitting during installation. This is considered normal and does not affect the performance or function of the upgrade kit once correctly installed.

HOP-UP Contact Pressure Adjustment
The internal dimensions of VFC HK417, M110, SR25, and related platforms may vary slightly between different models and production batches. Therefore, the T-N.T. Upgrade Kit is engineered around the average dimensional specifications found across these platforms to ensure the broadest possible compatibility.
If you find that the HOP-UP contact pressure is insufficient after installation, we recommend placing a spacer approximately 0.2–0.3 mm thick (such as a business card or playing card) beneath the front end of the original adjustment arm. This simple modification will increase the contact pressure applied to the bucking and provide a greater HOP-UP adjustment range.
For users running the T-N.T. TL Bucking, please note that the TL series is specifically designed for lightweight BBs. Its contact patch is intentionally smaller, requiring less contact pressure to achieve optimal performance.
If additional HOP-UP effect is desired, the chamber is also compatible with other standard GBB-spec buckings, which may provide a larger contact patch and a wider adjustment range depending on the bucking design.

Important Notice
Due to differences in dimensions, manufacturing tolerances, and machining methods among various brands of inner barrels, receivers, and related components, T-N.T. cannot guarantee direct drop-in compatibility with every aftermarket product.
Compatibility differences are inherent to upgrade and aftermarket parts. As a result, minor fitting, adjustment, or modification may be required in certain installations. This is considered a normal part of the installation process and does not indicate a product defect.
We recommend that installation be performed by users with basic mechanical and DIY experience, or by a qualified airsoft technician, to ensure proper fitment and optimal performance.
