OEM Inner Barrel Compatibility & Installation Notes
When installing the T-N.T. GHK-AK V3 HOP-up chamber, some users may experience fitment issues when using the original GHK inner barrel, especially around the side positioning block area.
The reason is that the first positioning groove on the OEM GHK inner barrel is relatively narrow. As a result, when installing the T-N.T. GHK-AK V3 HOP-up chamber onto the original inner barrel, the side positioning block used to secure the inner barrel may not fully fit into the groove, which can affect overall barrel retention and installation stability.
Therefore, if you plan to use the chamber with the OEM inner barrel, we recommend slightly sanding and thinning the T-N.T. side positioning block before installation. We suggest reducing the thickness to approximately 1.4mm to better match the OEM groove dimensions and improve overall fitment and stability.
After proper adjustment, the chamber can usually be installed smoothly onto the original inner barrel while maintaining stable barrel retention and operation consistency.
Please also note that dimensional tolerances may vary slightly between different production batches of OEM parts. Therefore, the actual amount of sanding required may still need minor adjustment depending on your individual parts. We recommend sanding gradually in small amounts to avoid excessive material removal, which could affect retention strength and installation precision.
